/13/ But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about those who have died, so that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. /14/ For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. /15/ For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have died. /16/ For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel's call and with the sound of God's trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. /17/ Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever. /18/ Therefore encourage one another with these words.
/6/ And "then shall appear the signs" of the truth. First, the sign spread out in Heaven, then the sign of the sound of the trumpet, and thirdly the resurrection of the dead: /7/ but not of all the dead, but as was said, "The Lord shall come and all his saints with him." /8/ Then shall the world "see the Lord coming on the clouds of Heaven." /30/ Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see 'the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven' with power and great glory.
Mark 13:24-27
/24 /"But in those days, after that suffering, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, /25/ and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. /26/ Then they will see 'the Son of Man coming in clouds' with great power and glory. /27/ Then he will send out the angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.Matt 24:29,30b-31
